... so that I don't keep occasionally hijacking others' threads with off topic posts.
Hope some are an interesting read to ya'll, and discussion is of course welcome;
I'll start with this one, which I think is probably best posted with the title, link and small excerpt (<-- hoping that's the appropriate way to post articles on other forums);
Once Conservatives started "compromising" their principles of individual freedom and less government in favor of the Progressive's collective ideology, the end of America's free Republic became preordained.
...personally, I woulda began the progressive era catastrophe before the 16th amendment, which the article begins it at. I'd go back at least to the 14th amendment. But that wasn't a compromise by the R party (which somehow is assumed to have a quantum entanglement with 'conservative') and doesn't fit the article's primary point of how compromise has proven destructive, it was the party's primary mission at the time.
Yes, this works out and is a great idea! I have never liked sending members off to other sites but with all the scares on copyrights it is the only thing that guarantees no problems... Also, my preferred method.. you could send a message to the admin and ask if you can copy their content to this website- most of the time they say sure as long as we have a link back which of course we do...Most really like that their info gets shared...
Random Topics, huh. Okay. I'll play. :)
1. Mollie Tibbett:
While listening to the Glenn Beck program I heard Stu make a good observation about CNN's new spin on Tibbett's murder.
According to a CNN story ( https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/23/us/women-runners-tibbetts-harassment... ), her brutal murder was not actually the fault of an illegal alien. No. The blame seems to be Miss Tibbett's "gender" and her daily routine (which is jogging). Absolutely MORONIC! This takes me back to 9/11 when the big question by the leftist media was: "What did America do wrong to deserve this?". And lets not forget Obama's "apology" tour as well.
2. The shiitung and murder of two people at a gaming event at the Jacksonville Landing in Florida occurred within a "GUN FREE ZONE". Ironic, huh!
Imo, the fact that this scumbag brought a gun to a to a geek event tells me he had every intention to use it regardless. Btw, the entire city of Chicago is a "gun free zone", right? It's not working out isiit?
3. The late John McCain:
I had said in the past that I had much respect and admiration for his military service. But, sadly, his progressive stances as a senator put a shadow on his legacy.
But I can't blame McCain for not wanting DT at his funeral service. From day one I had voiced my disapproval of DT insulting his service.
While in uniform John McCain served his country w/ honor and heroically. Rest in peace.
1 - i guess any degree of hypocrisy is believable from CNN. gender and routine huh??... if she had been assaulted in any number of ways by anybody not a faultless political tool to the progressives they'd be spewing the exact opposite narrative.
2. psychotropic drugs ...
3. my 2¢ = who it is doesn't really matter to me, i just don't 'get' the glorification of a politician. They've been liars and thieves since the position was created and everybody knows it. What's to glorify?
... + @ random topics = i needed a place to post my non-political stuff, like quantum computing geeky stuff, or silly humans stuff. ;' / doesn't feel right to inject that stuff into others' political threads.
"2. psychotropic drugs"
Maybe not enough POT! (not) The victim culture.
As for the "glorification of politicians" . . .it's synonymous w/ hypocrisy - on ALL sides. The left glorifies Obama. The libbs did it w/ RP. And the right is doing it w/ Trump. They can do no wrong. It's all: "Yeah-but-this-is-different". It's sickening. .
It's sickening. .
yeah it is, not interestingly enough/TMI = I 1st typed something like - 'I just wanna puke every time' but decided to be less hyperbolic
"and was prescribed anti-psychotic and anti-depressant medications,"
... psychotropic drugs, every time.
Follow up to #3: To be fair...
it's been reported that McCain for Trump's policies 83% (*) of the time. A lot higher than I thought.
The proxy war begins.WhaI started as a tight race between Desantis and Putnam ended up a runaway for the DT-backed Ron Desantis by 20 pts.
In the left corner the winner is the virtually unknown mayor of Tallahasee, Andrew Gillum, the Soros and comrad Bernie Sanders backed democrat-socialist
Now the "tea leaves" I am seeing is the same race card strategy played dueing BO's 8 yrs. Gillum is black. W/ out a doubt it boosted the democrat turn out. Thus, ANYTHING negative that comes out of the De santis camp WILL get reported as "racist" attacks by the fake media.
The fact that Gillum is the first black running for governor in FL may be the "hail mary" Bill Nelson needs to stay alive as senator.
Btw, Florida's Republican Black Caucus endorsed Ron De Santis!
One thing's for sure, the dems might not be as fun as a barrel of monkeys. But they sure SMELL like one!
ya probly already know they owed their careers to whiteout. --- had forgotten about that car. free/broadcast tv played that show for a while last year, it's even worse now than it was then. kinda like watching black+white re-runs of Lost in Space.
...and I'll say this again. This was/is nothing compared to when either Ginsberg or Breyer get replaced. That's when the REAL mob-hysteria will be activated in full force. It's coming, buddy. The Ds on the Hill that they didn't retire during BO's reign when they had the control; and a totally submissive GOP.
But, then again, they were ALL completely convinced that their fix was in. That Hillary was "in". Now they wait...hopelessly...that DT "will" be impeached. Sorry, lefties. It's not gonna happen!
...scanning headlines the past few days I see the search engine algorithms are keeping an odd topic in the 'top news'. some kind of twisted logic principle being pushed that quantum physics has proven that the chicken and the egg came at the same time, neither 1st.
wonder what agenda that silly indoctrination serves... best guess is something like 'there is no such thing as a natural order of things' I suppose. or maybe that the masters of the tech universe have no limits to their abilities -- kinda God-like, maybe - I dunno. Their never-ceasing indoctrination games get tiring... and so does the fact that they often seem to work.
