So . . .GA6 and SC5 remain repub.
Okay. So what! In the last 7yrs the dems have lost well over a thousand seats across the board and now the GOP has control of BOTH the Senate and the HoR -- and now the WH. Yet, are we even close to REAL Obamacare repeal; or tax reform? No. Are we closer to REAL spending cuts or a Balanced Budget? Nuh-uh. How about the runaway costs of SocSec; any closer to any reform there? HAH!
So, excuse me for not popping the bubbly over the GA or SC "wins". I grade on actual legislative RESULTS - not merely on intentions. We get enough of that w/ the bullsh*t COMMON CORE education system.
That's my not-so-humble opinion!
wow, Am. I thought I owned the negativity and the doom-and-gloom messages. Careful. It's like getting leprosy.
Yes AM usurped. As soon as the ink on the old parchment dried man busy usurping.
Yes it does. The only chance we have is to keep the Electoral College to avoid tyranny by the majority.
"I'm telling you the USA is getting ready for a breakout of WWIII."
Economically and monetarily speaking, we're already there. And, imo, the initial shot was fired on September 11, 2001 - about a year after the dotcom crash of 2000. The cause: excessive speculation. Then, just 7 yrs later, the biggie of 2008. The cause: The mortgage bubble due to over-valued properties (again w/ the "excessive specuation") which led to the "toxic" bundles of worthless debt used as stock to falsely boost banks assets/value.
"If an O type candidate had been elected you can take it to the bank no preparation would be in play."
Does it really matter now that a " O type" isn't in the WH? Imo no. A potus can only...CONSTITUTIONALLY do so much. The very schemes mentioned above are still being praticced today - but to the extreme. Today, ALL stocks are waaaaay overvalued. There should've been a correction (crash) during Obama's [rule] - but The Fed protected his presidency to assure his 2nd term as well as what "supposed to've been" Hillary's new rule.
Now the Fed hiked the interest rate - which will eventually cause soaring inflation. Merely bringing this tax reform and having made good court appointments in NO WAY takes the nation off this suicidal freefall. Our debt runs into the 100s of Trillions of dollars when we include the unfunded liabilities due to SocSec/Medicare (uh oh! there's that old "song" again). And the present "6 month" $1.3T spending is a record high. Going back to the Crash of 1929, FDR's only recourse was to enter WW2. It actually saved our nation's economy and our currency. It will not have the same result this time. Again, jmho
I agree with your assertions.
My question then is domestically what will America become?
I do think a WWIII will be a tool to try and alter course -- very well may not work so who's next to take the reigns of the world?
A few days ago far leftist judge Rebecca Dallet wins what was desricbed as a "runaway victory" in the race for the WI Supreme Court. Governor Scott Walker warned of a possible "ble wave".
Now It's been reported that House Speaker Paul Ryan will not be seeking re election in his home state of WI.
Which direction will Wisconsin voters take the country? I ask the same of ALL the States.
BUT, w/ everything I've witnessed from Republicans since 2011, I would not be in the least bit surprised if many just no long believes any of it makes a damned bit of difference anymore. And those GOPers that remain will be as happy as a pig in sh*t - just for being there. .
p.s. The questions asked by too many of the GOP members of the US Senate were pathetic at best. And now it's the House's turn to embarrass themselves and further enfuriate us as well.
Here's an idea. If the Syrians and Putin wants US out of there - then, first, Iran must REMOVE their troops and ALL their military assets from Syria completely. Period.
Me too AM912! Both parties have over played. Past time to get on with doing the peoples business.
STUPIDITY NEVER SLEEPS
1. The rabid-leftists are attempting a new angle to get rid of Sean Hannity: A "Cohen" connection.
2. On the local front. Florida snot-noses are trying to sue Governor Rick Scott and Adam Putnam for not doing something about global warming. Scott had announced his run for the US Senate and has the edge on the present seat holder, and very strong supporter of the Paris Accord, Bill Nelson. Just a coincidence that this fake-suit is occurring during an extremely vicious midterm election year where the democrat/media machine is still frothing-mad over Trump having honestly triumphed over what was a very rigged election favoring the woman that made 33,000 emails disappear: Hillary Clinton. Open up another bottle Hillary. You're gonna need it!
Those very same hypcrites of the media have hired political activists, organizers and out and out communists like Van Jones, Jake Tapper, George Stephanopolous, and Al Sharpton...just to name a few...to anchor their news shows.
Fact is at least 30 journalists had left their profession to go work in the Obama administration or on one of his presidential campaigns. ( https://www.theblaze.com/news/2015/03/29/revolving-door-more-than-t... )
That only scratches the surface. I could describe the relationship between the media, Obama, Hillary and MANY of the higher ups at the CIA, the IRS and the DoJ as FAMILY INCEST. Do they really think that they could get Hannity fired from FNC? Probably. LOL
Luis your observations about the "rabid-leftist" spot on. They are pulling out anything they can think of to cause chaos. Personally I do not think it is boding well for the democrats. The elite democrat operatives I think at this point do not have a clue how to reign in what they have enjoyed in 2017 and thus far in 2018.
I observe from varying sources where comments are allowed that folks except the most radical of the radical left have grown weary of the lefts tactics.
politics arghhh.... double arghhh on the party politics...
..but one of my peeves is in play again - R party's 'next in line' method of maintaining it's spineless/corrupt/oligarchical/establishment leadership norm. I don't have the opportunity given my conservative region is dictated by fed/gov to be gerrymandered into small pieces of several D/progressive dominated districts, but this Speaker of the House issue is one I'd play the party game of demanding to my R rep (if I had one) it not be the 'next in line' norm(bs) this time. THEN there's who it is this time, McCarthy - true to form with the norm, no improvement/change at all.
so, here's something you'll rarely see from me - advocating playing the party's game/process and calling your R rep and telling him/her to not under any circumstances should he/she vote for 'next in line' McCarthy. It's that important, and few ever do. (I read that Jim Jordan is the conservative choice.)
(arghh.. nasty taste, like it's gonna make any difference... it'll be McCarthy)
