"So, I suggested a one on one friend request. What is so damning about that?"
I don't "friend" anyone w/ out knowing where they stand. And you know this, Am!
"Obviously your 3rd, 4th, 5th comments to Chelsea didn't entice her to reach out [to you]."
Uh huh. Nice try w/ your play on words. Since you read my "3rd, 4th and 5th" comments, you read where I said "Join us", right?
"Us" being the key term there. So, foryou to say that my way wanting her to reach out to "me" was crap! Because It wasn't about "me". But to try to get a new member to JOIN US at the forum. Too few new members share their views. Hell! Look at the few number of particpants havve been posting! I could count them o one hand! (Now minus one more)
Just move on, Am. Or are you just that bored?! Move on.
Luis, From me you have a "friggin break". Over and out!
so, smoking has been demonized in soooo many ways -- a social scourge taken to the extreme point of the medical system blaming it for every ailment it can, to the point of doctors refusing to treat patients if they refuse to quit smoking - I guess justified with a belief they can't help under those conditions... seen it 1st hand myself, and have been lectured and scorned by those in the medical system multiple times myself. Not to mention experiences as a non-smoker, like seeing/hearing the faux 'superiority' within my fellow non-smokers that smokers are so nasty and such a health threat they should all be banished to an island - like lepers.
so... demonizing smoking and smokers has justified it's wrath focusing on it's unhealthiness.. .. ..
Is cleaning your house equivalent to smoking 20 cigarettes a day?
"We found accelerated lung function decline in women both following occupational cleaning and cleaning at home," wrote lead study author Øistein Svanes in the commentary. More damage was found among women working as professional cleaners, but even those who merely cleaned their own homes once a week demonstrated lung damage that would be equivalent to that caused by smoking about 20 cigarettes per day.
lol - so, I guess now the doctors will start refusing patients if they clean their homes once a week?? ... that's the logic applied to smokers, but i'll guess not -- which further discredits the social engineering features of government and the medical system .
Good find... I think they sit around and invent things that will harm us in say 5 or 6 years. Then they apply for enormous research grants to find semi-cures...so the money goes round and round!!! Everybody gets a paycheck except the poor sick consumer...
Larry, Always can count on a massive project plan from the yahoos.
yeah, I wonder how much that goes on too. I wouldn't say it dominates, but I also wouldn't say it doesn't happen at all.
What did people use to clean the house before all the smell good chemical cleaners marketed themselves into homes (??), I'm thinking probably vinegar and that it's fumes are not near as toxic as what we're subjecting ourselves to now. What a lead-by-the-nose consumer culture we've become.
reading this reminded me of something I read a few years ago about, on the average, how many chemicals a woman applies to her skin each day. The number was something like 165, best I recall. I've wondered many times since how much that contributes to ya'lls health complications in life. Now we can add to that the chemicals you (and your household) inhale. I think ya'll would've been better off with vinegar and vanilla extract. ;' /
Remember the old Dupont slogan ""Better Things for Better Living...Through Chemistry." They dropped that in the early 80's for "Better life through science" I think.
Face it being it products we clean with, put on our bodies and literally inject through our mouths it's a crapshoot. And yes all products and foodstuff is now touched by 'science'.
I am a woman who has not lived her life as a consumer of beauty products instead I liked who I was as I was in the raw.
There has been things that was of need to control a situation that required costic products. I have used them from a kid to adulthood.
One time we are dished out to that coffee is bad for us and later told its a good thing for this that and the other. Red wine the same
I figure that any science based person can write an article and get paid for doing so to support whoevers agenda.
I do buy that fillings ones lungs with cig smoke for years has to have an affect. But one who partakes could easily be maimed or killed the next time they go out in a car. Cig didn't kill them accident did.
Genetics are a source of many health related issues and this will occupy big time medical ethhics issue in the future.
Dang just live your life one day at a time.
Larry, as a consumer I have consumed!!! Enough! And now I have come full circle, back to vinegar for cleaning- does a fantastic job on my wood floors... And I mix up my own facial products...coconut oil and baking soda makes a great all in one cleanser and moisturizer... I have studied herbals for pain and general health but that is where science comes in -nothing that is considered natural works like morphine...
Do we know if this is true?
Didn't try to vet all this. Wouldn't at all be surprised that it is true.
Our gov't is a dank deep state.
