We've seen the Market go up and down many times before and come back. So we ask what is so different about this time. Some in the media are screaming "Correction" while others claim it's time for a crash. Then there are others who claim it's a domino effect in an unstable World economy. I think it's a slap in the face to Donald Trump. Yes, I feel the men of money are sending Trump a message, they can take him down and they are willing to risk all our lives to prove it. Oh my gosh, I sound paranoid, have I just joined the conspiracy group.
The propaganda arm of the Progressive Party, the Main Stream Media, cannot figure out how to stop the climb of Donald Trump to stardom for America's number one position, President. No matter what they say or how many times they say it they cannot destroy Trump. Every time the propagandist speak they only promote Trump's bigger than life TV personna. They are making Trump a legend by dumping on him every day. Gee, even the paid protesters in Charlotte couldn't even grab the head-lines over the mistrial of a cop for shooting an unarmed Black man. It looks like the only way Trump can be destroyed is through his pockets.
Let's face it, Trump cannot be bought or bribed. The only other Candidates at this date are Cruz and Rand Paul. They have run the gauntlet previously and survived. Of course there are the remainder of the Candidates but they also need to build their base in order to place. Many pundits and paid contributors are claiming it's too early to say if Trump will surge or fall-out of the Presidential race. They say they have seen this happen before and they don't think Trump can make it to the finish line. Then of course there is the grand finale that Trump will run on a 3rd Party ticket if he loses the nomination. In layman's terms, take your pick, it's anyone's game at this early stage.
As Trump is leading the pack and everything he says is analyzed the Market takes a dive. Oil showing below $40 a barrel yet, gas at the pump is still holding just over $2 a gallon. Everything across the Country having to do with the price of gas has not gone down. Air-lines continue to raise prices where ever they can while the cost of other goods still climb. Some Market analyist say it's because China is flooding the Market with waste paper stocks because of their lagging economy. There is truely thousands of reasons why the Market could crash. I usually look at oil. No matter what a "Share the Wealth" society wants a global Socialist will never survive the individual greed. However, that is still decades in the future and the only thing that should concern us now is, can we refain from being sucked in by the media.
Over the next couple of weeks we will see if Trump has been chastised enough to pull back his horns or snub his nose at the big money boys and forge ahead at full speed. Trump may not want to be known as a politician but when he threw his name in the hat for the Presidential Race he came to play one. We have yet to see if he can stand alone from the Globalist. I personally don't think he can without the help of "The People." The Tea Party patriots will have to make a hard dicision this week. They will have to choose Donald Trump for President within the coming weeks and make 2016 another 2010 victory or wait and let the money boys of the the Republicans and Democrats choose our next President for us.
Very well said Christine once again. I do not like Trump but by gosh he is the only one standing up and saying it all as it needs to be said. A couples other have had their moments but as you say are at the mercy of the "robber barons."
I'm afraid Norma most will fade as we Conservatives are very tight with our hard earned dollars. I can't blame anyone who keeps their head down and their butts up toiling away to support their families and try to put a little aside for retirement. After all, this is the American way. We don't accept any help as long as we have two arms two legs and a brain that works. These days we don't even need all our limbs, we now have the Internet.
I can't say I never liked Trump. I was dubious about his sincerity but, over time I have come to believe he is very honest about wanting to serve the people and being our next President. I still favor Scott Walker as I see him as the common man. He has successfuly battled the Unions and won. Unfortunately, I also realize most of the other Candidates will have to partner with the big money boys. A shame but truth because you cannot win a National Election when the people don't give you money.
Many people, including me, recognized the money trees were in control years ago. All our comlpaining has fallen on deaf ears for the most part. And, as you say, many are busy earning a living and raising a family. Add into the mix a mostly bias media who are controlled by the money carriers as well.
Other people have contributed in many ways besides money only to learn their support was for a "wolf in sheep's clothing." Alas, we need a lot more "Trumps" to blow their horn.
Oh dear! Trump is asking for big donors with no strings attached. Egads, he has forgotten the little people already. Market in global drop and the big boys are cleaning up. Media still blaming World economic problems for Market dropping. That same Market the Fed loans has been pumping a trillion of taxdollars in since Obama took Office. That same Market the World economy has been limping along with since 9/11. If Trump draws out his money from the Market for his campaign he will have to pay a whopping tax bill. No wonder he asking for big tax free tax donors.
Yep, Christine. I heard that this morning. He's phrasing it as though the people are approaching him to take the money. Maybe so but I wonder.
Just posted article on China and the fall of the Dow and US dollar. Don't know if it will recover as it generally has done or keep falling. At this point there is little anyone can do. We do know you can't keep printing money and hold up things by false pretences.
I honestly haven't thought of this angle. So many variables in all this turmoil. Big boys include those of business, investors and gov't. I recall Kos saying a while back that a big correction was due.
Correction due or not I personally can not discount a freight train hauling cars full of reasons that those in power will bring to bare to secure what they desire -- the we the little people be the ones who are slaughtered at their alter.
What we are seeing now is the globalization of World businesses. China and Russia are trying to break out on their own. Unfortunately for them all our economies are linked through the World Banking Industry. As I've said previously, just look on your shelves to see where our goods are coming from and how all ethnic foods are now appearing on our grocery shelves. What happens at the top shows at the bottom for all to see. Socialism has been spreading everywhere but most don't see the signs in their own communities.
Everywhere you look power is being consolidated under the control of the few. Pharmaceuticals growing and choices of drugs diminishing. Insurance Companies growing bigger giving us fewer choices in plans under Obamacare and Medicare. Hospitals forcing Doctor's private practices and Ambulance Services to contract with hospitals along with labs and free-standing Clinics controlling prices. The Commerce Department has become a power broker for Retailers in politics. The Realestate Industry manipulating the pricing of housing. Is it any wonder our chosen Representatives voted for "Fast Track" thinking it was only for easier global trading agreements?
We know the RHINOs control the Republican Party and the power behind the RHINOs come from the "Big Money Boys". The same goes for Democrats who are controlled not only by the "Big Money Boys" but with our taxdollars being thrown at them by Obama. I see Trump like I see China and Russia. Trump, like China and Russia can get money but without the World power behind them they will not succeed. We see China trying to build her power in the Pacific for a Southern Pacific Union and Russia trying to rebuild the old Soviet Union. We see ISIS trying to build a Middle East Union and Syria is their key to the Kingdom. We have watched Soros trying to build the North American Union even going as far as planning our one currency like the EU currency. Put a map of the World on your wall and circle what these consolidation of Countries look like and you see what your community looks like on a smaller scale.
Trump may have had a chance if he had concentrated on "The People" but, he didn't have enough faith in us and went to the big donors instead. If he had worked harder at consolidating the little people the money people would have followed. Can he turn it back around? I Don't know, we little people are easy to forgive but, we never forget and it's those little things that stick in the pit of our stomach. Like Dr. Carson wanting to put certain limits on guns. Realistically we know that there will never be a mass deportation of 20 million illegals if Trump becomes President but, we also know he can make a good deal and a compromise will be achieved. No one can win the 2016 Elections without the power of the "Big Money Boys".
Trump has to go to the Cities, Counties and States to build his case for "The People". He must build his campaign like a War Room and spear-head it with volunteers. He cannot rely on just media coverage. If he wants to be the Ringmaster at the circus then he has to know where he is taking the audience. He has already forgotten who pays to see the show. So far he has only given "The People" a peek-review as the barker to what is on the outside of the tent. Now, he needs to bring us in to the tent see the show.
Christine, You understand it and put it into words so well. This last comment should have been an editorial as well.
Excellent! I agree with Norma-This reply should have been a stand alone Editorial! You have such great command of words.
I would like very much if you would also post in Editorials occasionally...
Thanks again Norma and Suzie. I will take you up on it if I remember. Usually I don't intend to be so gabby but my brain just keeps running on and on. Unfortunately I have an XP system and freeze often leaving me very frustrated. What starts out as one thought seems to run into many and many a time I've had to turn off my PC because of a freeze. At this time I refuse to buy a new PC, maybe next year.
Have you cleared cookies? and run something to defrag? or do you run a good virus protector?
I don't blame you about the price of computers- have you ever looked at refurbished items- my hubby's tower is a refurb and so is my excellent tablet...
Chr.istine, I know whereforeof you speak. LOL I was in the same position a year and a half ago. It is darn frustrating to the person it happens to. It's also frustrating to us for we hunger for your posts.
