The Truth Behind AOC’s Radical Environmentalism
Most of the Republican party has been able to have a good laugh over Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez “Green New Deal” proposal. But entrepreneur and economist Peter Schiff sees the threat that’s being offered up under the guise of environmental extremism.
Schiff shared his concerns via Twitter:
The most ridiculous part of the Green New Deal is the belief that it will improve people’s lives. To divert resources to implement this plan would impose an economic burden, require great public sacrifice, and result in an unprecedented decline in the American standard of living!

He then exposed the “Deal” for what it was in his following post:
Radical environmentalism has been a smoke screen to mask a hidden socialist agenda. The Green New Deal blows away the smoke and lays bare the truth for all to see. Wrapping a red agenda with a green ribbon does not change its color, or the economic disaster it will unleash!

It’s a dangerous game that the ever more radical Democrats continue to play.
Labeling it as a deal was clever. McConnell wants it to be voted on. It is not even close to being a piece of legislation and it can not even come close to thinking of it as a type of treaty. Make my hair on the back of my neck stand up much like a dogs when confronted by an adversary.
So AOC's Green New Deal is at best a lefty loons sophomoric paper (President said as much), oh and possibly written with help by a technocrat.
The right is having fun with it, AOC supporters serious about it -- some of the loon left backtracking others trying to spin lie in order to try and not look so foolish.
Some of what is in it my very well come to fruition but decades away.
