I think it is evil pure and simple!
I know that seems like a non sequitur or unprovable hypothesis yet like Rod Serling used to say on the Twilight Zone, "Submit for your approval" or consideration.
Evil abounds in our world, always has yet seemed to no longer loiter in the darkness or shadows.
The Bible mentions, evil kings, evil things and suggests many actions are enticed by evil thoughts…

Exo 20:4 “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
5. You shall not bow down to them or worship them;
I am afraid that society has never considered that denying "God" is a form of "hate."
I doubt the "shooters" had ever heard that from any preacher or from any Christian friends or neighbors.
(We will get to "thou shalt not" later)
IDOLATRY can take many forms.

Evil this way comes.
“I am the LORD your God,". . .
“You shall have no other gods before me."
A society that has not heard these words or heard yet not heeded is a society poorer in spirit.
We preachers, I am afraid, will be judged at the great white throne Rev.20:11-15. We all have been given the Word that is Salvation for our eternal soul.
God intended the Gospel for those with black hearts and evil in their minds. Along with us sinners saved by…

Ok, get buckled in, hold on to your hats.
Many, ye most won't want to hear this.
Have you ever heard someone say "this will hurt me, more than you"?
The Church has to be accountable to society for the shape it's in !
I fully expect there will be some that will say, take me off the devotion list. Or will just block the number.
Did any of the "shooters" ever read
"Thou shalt not kill"
One translation says: never shed innocent blood !
I am aghast ! ! !
My deepest feeling about these shooters is they are COWERDS !
I am a combat veteran. These COWARDS are “wannabees”, they seldom have any idea what our real veterans have done to protect the United States of America and the Constitution…Continue

The "bad guy"
The "bad guy" isn't the other guy
Our enemy isn't the "rich guy" or the minority that "looks different" or "lives different"! It is not the left or right! Our enemies aren't the protestant or Catholic or even the "Muslim."
With shootings like the most recant night cub shutting, evil raises it's or “his” ugly head. I to try to make sense of all of it, the truth is we can't make sense of “evil”!
In an effort to make sense of it some blame God, in the case…

Many Americans have no idea why we celebrate Veterans Day on November 11. Those who know that the holiday began as Armistice Day typically think of it as a day of victory and peace.
However, for those on the ground in Europe the last twenty-four hours before the cessation of hostilities on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, that day was nothing less than hell on earth.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed . . . Psalm 2 King James Version (KJV)

The Wonder of It All
by Chuck Swindoll
When Mary and Joseph began their journey southward to Bethlehem, they probably thought they had time to make the trip, register for the census, and then return home to Nazareth before the baby would be born. The weather cooperated and a donkey carried their provisions, but the journey proved more lengthy than either of them had expected. Mary was soon to give birth.
By the time they reached Bethlehem, Mary was…Continue

Little known History:
A crew member of the USS Utah had been storing an urn containing his daughter’s ashes in his locker onboard, planning to scatter them at sea, but the Dec. 7 attack prevented him from ever doing so. Sixty-four men died aboard the USS Utah that day, and many of their bodies remain entombed within its sunken hull. The baby girl, who had died at birth, was finally honored with a funeral at the USS Utah Memorial at Pearl Harbor in 2003.…

Good Friday and Easter, the glorious message of those two days is the core of the Gospel we preach. On Good Friday, we commemorate the darkest day in history—when Almighty God laid on His Son the sins of all mankind. Jesus Christ went to the cross so that those who trust in Him wouldn’t have to live in the darkness, bondage, and death sentence of sin. When He said from the cross, “It is finished” (John 19:30, ESV), that was really just the beginning. Believers in Jesus…Continue
