A couple days ago I took notice in our local paper that a fed/gov grant was paying 80% of the cost of improvements on a road in our nearby town - $8million.

This morning I see this in the same paper; $500K grant to benefit TLU nursing program

...and this in an Oklahoma paper;

Oklahoma Tribes Receive $18M In Federal Grants

Fifteen Oklahoma tribes will split $18 million in federal grants to address issues such as substance abuse, violence against women and community policing. The U.S. Justice Department announced the grants this week.

so, I did a search of news using the keywords 'receives grant' and found a seemingly endless list of fed/gov grants announced in just the past few days;

http://www.bing.com/news/search?q=recieves+grant&FORM=NWRFSH

Is it any wonder we've become completely under the authority of fed/gov and it's oligarchy, and $20trillion+ in debt??

if there ever was a prescription for total slavery to the federal government and financial ruin this has to be it.

Texas Asks Federal Govt. for $61B in Effort to Boost Hurricane Resi...

--------------

Texas is begging for a $61B grant from fed/gov to 'future proof' it's/Houston's infrastructure against future storms. There's a lecture in there to Texas about being independent...  but besides that = having spent 10 years as a planning and problem solving analyst, the term future proof is a giant red flag warning of throwing money away.   The state asking for this doesn't quite fit my sense that it's just uber-progressive Houston trying to both take advantage of an opportunity and also con their way to replacing the funds they lost due to being sanctuary city. That's what it looks like to me, but I wouldn't expect Gov. Abbott to play along with that - by having the state ask for the money.

this belongs in the topic of fed/gov grant insanity =

https://yosemite.epa.gov/oarm/igms_egf.nsf/recipient2?OpenView

That's EPA's grant program, which is mostly Agenda21 and wealth redistribution focused. The spreadsheet is interactive, you can drill down to more details - and you'd likely find many interesting/disturbing facts about what EPA is doing with your tax dollars.

I have a lot to say about that medicine point too Norma.  i'll nutshell it with = dumbing down of society and the psychotropic drugs handed out like candy for whatever whim reason the Dr. has at the moment are closely related.

Expanding on the grant insanity - and debt and slavery to fed/gov...  and keeping in the forefront the old common sense wisdom that debt is slavery in a very real (natural law) way.

What gives a U.S. dollar value now that it's not backed by gold?? I posted that question to the internet and found this; https://www.quora.com/How-can-the-U-S-dollar-have-value-if-it-is-no...

In it you'd find in the comment section many people trying to earnestly answer that question with very few being the same as others - other than when they're all boiled down they mean it is the future labor of the U.S. citizenry that backs the dollar. Now - take that to the debt clock and do some math. With $67Trillion+ U.S. total debt, that clock used to show the state and municipal debt too and it was then in the mid teenTrillions so let's estimate what surely is low now at $15Trillion. That's a whole lot of future labor of the citizenry that our government has committed to debt.  Then there's the $18Trillion in personal debt(future labor) that we've committed ourselves too.   THAT's a whole lot of future labor, generations most likely.  ...sounds a lot like slavery to me.   (and also - the 14th amendment is a major player in this as well)

Yep.  Taxpapyers pay for this insanity.  We also pay for grants to medical studies for new drugs and pay astronomical prices for that medicine.
