Guns Don't Kill People- People Kill People
by Susan Nielsen
As a dark cloud full of the tears of Hundreds of Parents who have lost their Children hovers over America, no one can imagine their pain. All we can do is pray for them, pray that God gives them comfort. But, is that ALL that can be done?
Let's reword that and call it what it is. Their children were brutally murdered, by automatic weapons, hand guns, knifes and by human hands, etc...and our Prayers will not bring back those dead children.
I have always supported our 2nd amendment. But today as we morn the loss of 17 more dead children, I have to ask myself some serious questions.
Why do people own automatic and or/semi-auto weapons? First let's define "automatic weapons".
"An automatic firearm continuously fires rounds as long as the trigger is pressed or held and there is ammunition in the magazine/chamber. In contrast, a semi-automatic firearm fires one round with each individual trigger-pull. ... Firearms are further defined by the type of firearm action used."
So in my opinion, people who own automatic weapons- want to shoot lots of things- without re-loading.
These latest killings will inevitable open more discussions, regarding our 2nd Amendment rights. This is a very complicated dialog.
As a conservative activist, I must stand on the side of our Constitution, Our 2nd Amendment which reads:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. On December 15, 1791, the Bill of Rights (the first ten amendments to the Constitution) was adopted, having been ratified by three-fourths of the states.
The 2nd Amendment is the reason for the 3rd Amendment- which in simple terms means
The Third Amendment, or Amendment III of the United States Constitution is the section of the Bill of Rights that prohibits soldiers from temporarily residing in private homes during peace time without getting the permission and consent of the owner.
While I Agree 100% with our Constitution. I agree 100% with Americans Right to Bear Arms. However, I no longer agree that we need a right to have semi and or fully automatic weapons.
In the coming weeks this discussion will become the focus of all mainstream news- they will parade people across their stage with sad sad stories that will melt the hearts of all Americans, attempting to brainwash folks into a state of rage with the existing laws- which they do not understand- because no one is going to give a damn about accurate statistics. The media brain-washers will attempt, once again, to remove our 2nd Amendment rights. Which would equate to nonsense, equal to removing all vehicles because cars kill people.
Guns don't kill people- people kill people.
And in this case of the Florida murders- they KNEW he was a problem-due to his social media statements and photos. They did Nothing! So, on the flip side maybe we should we rid ourselves of the incompetents who are in place for our safety?
You Need to ASK yourself WHY? Why didn't they act?
